Around 7:00 on July 20, our apartment was hit by a flash flood which poured in through the windows and flooded the entire apartment with a devastating amount of water. Because of the extensive damage and the trauma caused to us and our pets, we are currently packing everything and planning to move out. We hope to move in the next week or two.

Our landlord is letting us out of the lease and we have renter’s insurance, but it doesn’t cover moving expenses. Obviously this was not something we had planned for, but we’re making the best of it.
