We are a group of 16 student nurses from Liverpool John Moores University embarking on a 4 week trip to Fort-Portal Uganda to work and practice in the healthcare sector. We’re raising funds to purchase essential medical supplies that we’ll personally deliver to hospitals in Fort Portal, where resources are critically limited.

We are proud to be working in partnership with Knowledge for Change (K4C), a respected UK charity dedicated to improving healthcare in low-resource settings. Through K4C, we’ll be gaining first-hand experience on clinical placements in Ugandan hospitals, while supporting local healthcare staff and contributing to the community.

Our mission isn’t just about gaining experience — it’s about giving back. The supplies we take will make a direct, tangible difference to the patients and healthcare professionals we’ll be working with. From basic medical equipment to hygiene essentials, every donation will help us provide much-needed support.
