Raising £2,000 for Evelina Children’s

As many of you know, I’ve lived with heart disease since I was born. This past year has been the hardest yet — I’ve undergone three major heart surgeries, including an emergency operation that saved my life after I collapsed at home.

My surgeries took place on 22nd May 2025, 11th November 2025, and the emergency one on 30th November 2025.

During the many weeks I spent recovering in St Thomas’ Hospital over the past year, I saw countless children being taken into Evelina Children’s Hospital—some of them facing incredibly serious and life-changing conditions. Seeing their bravery, and the amazing work the staff do every single day, truly moved me.

With Christmas approaching, I couldn’t stop thinking about how difficult this time of year must be for those families. That’s why I’ve set myself the goal of raising £2,000 to buy Christmas presents for the children at Evelina. On 22nd December 2025, I’ll be delivering these gifts to the hospital in hopes of bringing a little joy to children and parents who are going through so much.

To help make this possible, I’ll be completing a 5K walk on 21st December — just three weeks after my surgery. It won’t be easy, but knowing it’s for these children gives me all the motivation I need.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help make Christmas a little brighter for families who truly deserve it.
