Buy a home or bye-bye to home

Hello, my name is Edward and we are trying to buy a home.

 

For the last year and a half or so I have been going through health issues and my family has done everything they can to take care of me. I am still going through different treatments, therapies, and it feels like a new doctor every other week.

I have always been one of the breadwinners in the household and yet now I can't help out at all. I was diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension and right sided heart failure, as well as having developed a cirrhotic liver and tremors.

I have been doing everything I can to get healthy so that hopefully someday I can go back to contributing to my family, and I have no intention of dying anytime soon in spite of how all of those issues sound.

 

But recently our landlord decided to sell the condo that we rent and we have until the end of November to move. Fortunately we found another place and my roommate was able to get a loan in order to try to buy the place but the sellers won't budge and we are only about $20,000 to $25,000 short. That's a big number in Pocket change but it is still so close that it hurts to not be able to do this. And truthfully it is almost our only option.

 

So while that is a big ask for one person I am hoping that as a combined effort enough people can help us accomplish this goal and we can stay together as a family and be happy. But we don't have much time. And when I say we don't have much time I mean we have just a matter of days to get the finances straightened out so this is an emergency.

 

And here I am reaching out. I mean, you never know unless you ask.

 

I know a lot of times these things have levels where you give so much and you'll get x thing in return but if I had x thing to give that thing would have been sold already to try to get this done. I can't make any promises like that.

But if you want a little song, I'll sing you a song.

If you want a birthday greeting, I'll put it in my calendar and send out that greeting.
