Hi everyone. We are two brothers, Ethan (13) and Patrick (11), and we are raising money to make sure every kid in our Lower East Side neighborhood can have a costume this Halloween. We don’t have social media so our parents helped us set up a GoFundMe page. 

Five years ago, after noticing that some kids were trick-or-treating without wearing a costume, our two dads explained that not every family can afford a new costume at Halloween. Halloween should be a fun holiday that builds great memories, but for too many people in our community, Halloween can be stressful. So, we began asking our friends to donate their gently used costumes, and we gave them away to families in need. The first year, we gave away almost 300 costumes and over the last few years we have given away thousands of costumes!

This year, "Costumes for Kids" is also collecting money to buy new costumes and accessories for families in our neighborhood that we will give out the week before Halloween. Every dollar you donate will be used to buy a new costume.

Our efforts have earned us the title of New Yorkers of the Week by Spectrum NY1, and we have also been interviewed by WCBS-TV. Thank you for being so generous and for helping us give a great Halloween to so many kids.
