For over a decade, Kelly’s Port has proudly hosted elite B-2 Stealth Bomber pilots and their families from Whiteman Air Force Base for a day of relaxation and fun on Lake of the Ozarks. These brave men and women, who operate one of America’s most advanced aircraft, sacrifice so much to keep our nation safe. Each summer, we welcome them to our lake for a well-deserved break, complete with boating, laughter, and community spirit.

Why We’re Doing It: At Kelly’s Port, we believe in giving back to those who give everything for us. Since 1977, our family-owned business has been a cornerstone of Lake of the Ozarks, and this event is our way of saying “thank you” to these heroes. The B-2 pilots and their families—spouses, kids, and loved ones—spend a day on our boats, soaking in the lake’s beauty and making memories. It’s a rare chance for them to unwind from the demands of military life. We cover the boats and gas, local restaurants like Dog Days Bar & Grill generously provide meals, and Margaritaville discounts their lodging at their hotel. Now we’re asking our incredible community to help cover their entire hotel stays and other expenses for a truly memorable experience. Your support ensures these families enjoy a worry-free retreat, strengthening our bond with those who protect our freedoms.

This year, we’re aiming to raise 5,000 to cover hotel costs, transportation, and extra activities for 10-15 pilots and their families. Every dollar goes directly to making their visit unforgettable. Last year, pilots like Captain Steve Bressett shared how much this day means, saying it feels like “flying close to the water” with the same thrill as their missions.
