Hi everyone,

My name is Leo and im trying to raise funds to help get top surgery as part of my gender affirming care. Unfortunately the waiting times for NHS are excruciatingly long and my Gender clinic is currently only working on their 2018 referrals. I am on the 2021 referral list and unfortunately the way things are looking with our government etc I’m not even sure I’ll be able to get this before things start going private etc. I’m looking at going abroad to have this done as I have seen lots of results and have done my research on everything I need to, which I why I need to raise as much as I can.

A little bit about me.. I’m 33 years old and have been socially transitioning since roughly 2017-2018. I made the decision to pay for my own hormones privately and I have now been on my testosterone for 2 years as of the 5th of may and the changes have been incredible. I finally feel like I’m headed in the right direction of my body matching on the outside as it feels on the inside. I struggle every single day with my body and have been diagnosed with body dysmorphia since I was 13 years old when my body started changing. So you name it, I’ve tried it. Being bigger chested means I have a lot to do in order to feel acceptable enough for me to go out and most days I still feel uncomfortable in my own skin and I really just want to move along in my journey. I am very lucky to have an amazing support network around me and I could not be anymore thankful to them for bringing me my strength when I didn’t think I had any fight left in me. I have uploaded some photos of me since I started my hormones and hopefully you can all see the changes as much as I can!

I would be eternally grateful for any donations to my surgery as I am not able to do it on my own. I care for my mum full time so saving is very few and far between for me but when I am able to put anything aside I make sure to do so, and paying for my hormones is one of ther best decisions I’ve ever made, I can finally see the start of the changes of making g the outside match the way I feel on the inside.
