Button was born 01/12/23. As he was born to a neighbours dog I’m lucky to have had cuddles since his eyes were still closed.

At 4 months old Button was diagnosed with a minor heart problem which meant his blood wasn’t pumping as it should. A new scan was recommended at adult age but overall we were told not to worry.

Fast forward 01/05/25 where me and Amerish are devastated to find out our little baby boy has a very serious murmur which has thickened the walls of his heart and risks heart failure in the first few years of his life. It is above the worst end of the scale.

I don’t know all jargon but I have added our Blaise Hospital letter to the pics which explains it all. Button is booked in 02/07/25.

I understand it’s a difficult time financially for everyone. Our end, its an unexpected large cost but baby boy will have his op whether we can afford it or not. Leaving him to suffer isn’t an option.

Any help is greatly appreciated but not expected. £5000 is the cost but obviously that’s an unrealistic target to set, even 50p is a help. Many of you have kindly offered to donate so I have set up this page.

UPDATE 2/7/25

Buttons surgery was aborted due to the catheter to his heart perforating the heart wall. They basically accidentally stabbed him This caused internal bleeding and risked his life, the operation was stopped immediately. This massive complication cost me £1k and the operation (£5k) isn’t even done yet

He was ICU for 2 days fluid to drain from his chest. He is now home.
