Help Faith Fight Leukemia

Hi, My name is Tiffany, and I am the mother of Faith. When I was 12 weeks pregnant with Faith, she was diagnosed with Tuner Syndrome. A rare genetic disorder in girls with a pregnancy survival rate of 2%. Since that day, she has been fighting and beating the odds! Every day of pregnancy was a wonder if that were the day I would miscarry. At every weekly doctor's appointment, I worried about a heart not beating or an organ developing incorrectly. On September 4, 2020, her Daddy's Birthday, Faith Nevaeh arrived into the world. Our miracle baby was here! Despite her diagnosis, she continued to thrive and hit all her milestones. Faith has a sweet loving nature. She is intelligent, funny, and our little warrior!

At the beginning of November 2022, My husband and I went on an overdue Anniversary vacation. Faith and her four-year-old sister went to Virginia to stay with their grandparents. What an exciting time it was for everyone. During vacation, my mother called us concerned Faith had a high fever and needed an emergency room visit. They were immediately referred to the Norfolk Children's Hospital. My husband and I then flew to Virginia to be with Faith. After two days of testing, on November 11, 2022, Faith was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She had an aggressive blood cancer that needed treatment immediately, and her condition would not allow us to travel home to Connecticut. Faith's health was and is our top priority. My husband applied for FMLA, I left my business to be run by my staff, and we pulled her sister out of school to stay in Virginia.

We are currently three weeks into chemotherapy treatment with hopes to transfer to Yale New Haven Children's Hospital at home in another week. From there, we are looking at a 2+ year recovery plan. Besides being devasted and heartbroken by Faith's new diagnosis, we have begun to learn of the tremendous financial burden this will bring to our family.
