This is Buttercup.
She is an extremely sweet and intelligent mini golden doodle. She is very loved by her family and has been with us through many hardships in our lives.
She has recently been diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma on her front left leg. We went into a specialist appointment hoping that it was a large cyst and to have a simple removal. Instead, we were told, with later lab confirmation, that it was cancer and that in order to remove the cancer we would have to amputate her leg. Further tests show issues with her liver which may indicate a variety of issues with the worst being that the cancer has spread to her liver. We desperately want a full picture of what is happening to our dear Buttercup, but cannot afford both procedures.
We don’t want to put her through limb amputation if her cancer is spreading across her whole body. But the CT scan required to find that out is over $5,000. With one CT scan, we could determine whether there was further spread of cancer or the other possible conditions.
We appreciate any help we can get, and we are very thankful to anyone who can help Buttercup.
