Butter (Julian ) Chemo Treatment

Our son Butter (Julian) has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. (this is cancer of the lymph system). Good news is, this is one of the most curable forms of cancer. Over the next six months Butter will be undergoing weekly chemotherapy treatments at St. Christopher's Children's Hospital in Philadelphia. We are hopeful for a full recovery. Most of you seeing/reading this are friends and family, for those of you who aren't let me tell you about my son. Butter is an energetic twelve year old far from the average boy, can't you tell by his nickname. He is one of three children, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and most of all playing video games. Thankfully this disease has dampened his one of a kind spirit. We have a long road ahead of us. At this time we are unsure if we will be facing any out of pocket medical expenses. I am a small business owner, so unfortunately I do not have paid time off or medical leave. I am anticipating a reduction financially. In an effort to be prepared for an unforeseen out of pocket expenses, we decided to create this go fund me account. Any funds not needed for medical expenses will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
