Help Support NorCal, Butte County Jamaican Families Affected by Hurricane Melissa

Hurricane Melissa has devastated communities in Jamaica, and many of our local, Jamaican families here in Butte County have loved ones who’ve lost their homes and everything they owned. The situation is heartbreaking and they urgently need us.

We’re continually raising emergency funds to get lifesaving supplies—food, clean water, clothing, hygiene items, generators and rebuilding supplies—directly to those suffering right now.

We also hosted an amazing community Benefit Gathering on Saturday, December 6th at the Chico Women's Center. We came together to give what we could, support our Jamaican families and to spread the love and strength from this community (flyer attached of event). Stay tuned for future gatherings to help Jamaica rebuild!
