As you may know, Butch was viciously attacked by another dog at Allen Gardens on Saturday requiring a visit to an emergency veterinary hospital. The owner of the other dog seems to be a resident of the park and gave Gilles false contact information.

If you know these fine gents at all, you know how much they love this tiny member of their family and how they’d do anything to save him.

Butch has successfully pulled through his operation, but the medical costs are expected to be in excess of $12k based on the required deposit.

Joseph and Gilles are both retired and are living on fixed incomes and have no recourse from the owner of the other dog. They have been severely traumatized by this incident, Gilles in particular, and are also experiencing health issues at this stage in their lives.

I would like to ask anyone that can contribute, to please do so. They have not asked for this, nor would they ever, but it’s certainly something that will be needed.
