Butch Taylor

Hi, my name is Arti Dixson and I am fundraising for Butch Taylor.

Butch had a recent accident which caused a rupture to a finger tendon in his left hand. This hand is crucial to guitar playing for any right-handed musician. He was able to get surgery on the hand December 7, 2022 and so far, everything looks good. The recovery, which can never be guaranteed to be 100%, will entail eight or more weeks of specialized physical therapy.

As a result of this injury, Butch has had to cancel a number of gigs. The timing was not opportune as it effected a number of holiday and private gig events as well as New Years Eve, December being one of the most lucrative months for musicians. Butch lost his gig income for December and possibly for 2 or 3 more months. He now has medical costs.
