I think we can all agree, 2020 has been a rough year. For Butch and Dee Kania it has been overwhelmingly difficult and now they need your help!
Unfortunately, Butch was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic melanoma. The cancer has spread to his lungs, brain, spleen and spinal cord and brain fluid. His condition has deteriorated very quickly and he spent the month as an inpatient in Roswell. He has been undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatment for the last 2 weeks.
He still has a very long way to go. He lost his ability to swallow, has a feeding tube and hasn’t had the strength or coordination to get out of bed in weeks. As you can imagine, all of these treatments and the care he will require to get back to the comfort of his own home will be incredibly expensive. Since they are both retired, Butch and Dee and on a limited income and they could use all of the financial support they can get.
The money raised here will go to medical bills, medication, future treatment costs and his care at home. Your generosity can help them move forward with the treatments and care he needs.
If you know Butch, you know he is the most genuine, caring person and would do anything for anyone. Please forward this to as many people as possible and encourage friends to do the same. As a community we can help Butch and his family with the financial burden that lies ahead so they can focus on his recovery.
