Although Butch left us suddenly and far too soon, he left an unforgettable impression on all who knew him. Butch grew up playing Football, Basketball, and Baseball both on the field and in his neighborhood. Once he became a dad, he continued his love for sports by teaching his children to do everything from throwing a ball to swinging a golf club. As they got older, his teaching turned into coaching. Nothing brought him more joy than coaching his boys, his nephews, and all their friends. Over the years, he coached flag football, basketball, and baseball, and even gave his time refereeing and umpiring. Butch's love and enthusiasm for youth sports could be heard from the stands.

For his legacy to live on the Butch Goulette Youth Athletic Fund is being founded to celebrate his passion for youth sports. This fund will focus on helping to support student enrollment in youth sports, supplying needed equipment and/or skill development.
