Hello, My name is Susanna Viney and I am a single mother living in Waco, Texas with my 2 kids Isaac (10) and Jasmine (17). Recently, my family encountered a medical emergency with my youngest son Isaac Lazarus Viney. On 2/12/2024, Isaac was diagnosed with streptococcal meningitis where the bacteria spread to the brain and caused an infection (abscess). We are currently in the hospital at McLane Children Center in Temple, Texas fighting for Isaac's life. Before this tragic turn of events, I lost my means of transportation while working part-time and attending school. I have been living in Extended Stay since 2023 until we can transition into our apartment. This unfortunate situation has put a financial strain on me and my family due to my missing work to be by my son's side. I am leaning on the support of my fellow friends, family, and community to assist with living and medical expenses as well as standing with me in prayer for Isaac's full recovery.
