My dog was in a hit and run accident last night.
At 4:45 I left to go outside to leave my house and my dog ran out and I couldn’t find him. Then I heard a hard sound as a car drove by and heard my dog moan in pain, it was the worst noise I’ve ever heard. I ran over and had throw everything I was holding into the snow and I found him on the side of the road. He was still breathing but he was very stiff and breathing was jagged. I was crying my heart out. Unsure to move him or not, My friend found a vet hospital and i decided he needed to get there ASAP. I held him and we drove there breaking a ton of laws along the way. I got him inside and they took him immediately. Vets are some of the most amazing caring people I’ve met. He’s now he’s stable and alive. But he is paralyzed from his waist down. And we don’t know if the quality of life he’ll have will be worth it if he won’t walk again.
At a really dark time in my life, when my family was going through divorce we all isolated and Buster was barley taken care of. I was depressed and one day I saw him and realized he hates his life to. So I decided to walk him in the woods by my house. And we did that everyday until we moved a year later. Spending many hours everyday in the woods exploring and just living in the moment. He taught what it’s like to be loved unconditionally and what living in the moment is and you can be happy regardless of the circumstances. Buster saved my life, he got through some of the most difficult suicidal depression, and I owe it to him to save his life in return.
I know this is a lot of money and I very well may not raise any money. But a special person in my life told me it’s worth a shot. So I’m here to try. Your thoughts and prayers are just as good as any donation. Thank you all ❤️
