Busselton Greyhound Awareness
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Fiona and I'm fundraising for 2 very special community members who's lives have been impacted by a terrible traumatic accident.
Jacky and Brian are the humans behind Busselton Greyhound Awareness. This week they were terribly injured when an out of control vehicle crashed into their home in Busselton. Brian's injuries are significant and he was airlifted to the state trauma unit. Jacky sustained a broken ankle and has travelled to Perth to be near Brian and support from her family. Now they have to step back and focus on their rehabilitation and recovery.
Jacky and Brian have been dedicated and tireless campaigners for the plight of rescued greyhounds for the past 15 years. They are a familiar sight to many in Busselton as they are out in all weathers raising awareness and much needed funds for the cause with their stall. They take on hounds directly from the Greyhound Racing Industry, dogs that would otherwise have nowhere else to go and manage the fostering and adoption process, spending their own time and money without ever complaining.
All funds raised will go directly to Busselton Greyhound Awareness for their ongoing work and help to cover costs incurred whilst they are out of action.
Please consider a small donation to help those who have spent years helping the hounds.
Many thanks
