The Story of Gmacs

Food has always been my way of connecting with people. At Gmacs, we pride ourselves on one thing: everything is cooked fresh to order. Whether it’s the morning rush for our signature breakfasts or the evening crowd coming for our smashed burgers, we put our heart into every plate.

We’ve been lucky enough to find a home at the local Boxing Club. They’ve been more than just a location; they’ve been a lifeline. Seeing the community come together over a meal outside the club is what keeps me going.

The Reality We’re Facing

Right now, Gmacs is at a crossroads. Behind the scenes, the struggle to keep the business running while managing a household has led to a mountain of debt. I am currently over €10,000 in arrears due to the rising costs of living and business overheads.

To make matters more difficult, the food truck is in desperate need of renovations. Most importantly, we need to upgrade our security. We’ve become vulnerable to break-ins, and without a safe, secure unit, we risk losing everything we’ve built overnight.

Why We Are Raising Funds

I’m reaching out for help not just to save my livelihood, but to ensure Gmacs can continue to serve this community. Your donations will go toward:

- Security & Renovations: Installing shutters and reinforcing the truck to prevent break-ins and theft.

- Debt Recovery: Addressing the €10,000 in arrears to keep the business and my home stable.

- Giving Back: The Boxing Club hasn't charged me rent during my hardest months. It is my dream to use a portion of our recovery to make a donation to their club so they can continue supporting local athletes.
