Welcome all!

I’d like to raise funds for finally getting to run my food business as there was loads of issues on the way and now I am desperate to get it going.

Last year I signed a lease documents and my dream has started- place needed renovation and full replacement of all the equipment. I had to repair the roof and renovate upstairs flat that now I am forced to live in.

I need approximately £5k to again ensure smooth first 2-3months worth of kitchen help and all the stock. Our first opening brought people in, but also brought some complications like my mum's passing- that also sent me to a bad place and getting up from my loss was an absolute hell.

Due to a fact of me being a single mum with disabled child, I am no longer able to earn money to fund further the business that still is my dream. Ever since my mum passed away in October last year, it became even more difficult getting business going since funeral and complications caused most of my savings go. After losing my mum I lost the only help I had on the kitchen side of things and now I can only rely on myself.

Any amount would help to get it going- please help me fulfill my dream and get this beautiful street food dream of mine come true.
I won’t be able to manage anymore failures, and this business is one of the things that keep me going despite losing both of my parents.
Following reaching my goal I'd like to expand the business more and create a base for Charity Organisation that will support homeless people and families on low income by providing warm meals.

How it all started...

Around 10 years ago, when I first arrived in UK at the age of 17, I had nothing but a bag of clothes and willingness to work and build something big. By building something big I meant having a happy family, create a family business and one day open some charity helping less fortunate people.
I began working as a packer and since my English wasn't the greatest, I had to make a move towards reaching my goal.
I found a night time job, then started education at the local college. Evening till morning I was cleaning at the local factory, then morning till afternoon I was attending classes in college. Having spent over 5 years on education, I have finally learned how to communicate in English and I found fantastic job as a Support Worker for people with ABIs.
Then I finally got pregnant with little boy- my sunshine and little hero that was there every step along the way. My little boy has Autism. When I first found out, I had nothing but love for his different perception and unusual unique views. Unfortunately severity of my boy's Autism restricted some of my goals or at least altered it to the point where the only time I could work towards my dream takeaway was the time that my little star was in school.
After few years of doing everything in my power to get rid of my 'dream takeaway with some Polish heritage, that will once become an oasis for people in need'... I couldn't give up.
I signed the lease whilst holding my little son in my arms and I thought 'This place has a potential to be our future'. Renovation took a long while- all done with my bare hands- from plastering, painting, laying floors and changing the lamps. All that whilst actively caring for my 7 year old who doesn't communicate verbally, all that whilst making sure that he doesn't swallow stones found on the footpath or trying to climb on nearby car or a tree.

I'm little over a year in contract with my lovely landlord- paying rent on time, but struggling with some bills. Trying to run whole takeaway on one machine whilst having a need for at least one more to make sure people do come back.
We need some extra lightning outside to finally highlight our place, since we look like an old hardly-running place between other high-street franchised takeaways on our street.
We need at least £5000 to make sure we can upgrade this place and finally get up from the ground- as soon as our little business runs smoothly, I can ensure that not only my family has a warm meal on the plate, but others who cannot afford a meal, can have one too.
