Bush Family Fire Relief Fund

Hi, my name is Sara and my brother Daniel and I are starting this fundraiser for our mother Wendy. Earlier this fall, my mother lost over half of her house due to a fire. Thankfully, everyone got out safely but damage from the fire, water, and smoke has left my family without most of their belongings and living in a mobile home in their yard while they rebuild. Her tenants were also forced to leave which has been a large source of income and allowed her to keep our family home since my father passed.

The home is insured but benefits are disbursed slow and most have not been disbursed at all. The value of her belongings has been depreciated and they haven’t even given her a date to when they will be paid or when they can start demo and rebuild the house.

It’s hard to ask for help but it’s harder to see your family stressed and struggling. I hate that my mom has to use her retirement savings to survive. She is always the first to raise her hand to help others. Any funds raised will be used towards the mortgage, utilities, and replacing essentials.
