It breaks our hearts to share that our dad, Barry Lawson, passed away on October 25, 2025, after a long and difficult battle with health complications following a stroke he suffered three years ago.

Barry was a loving husband, a devoted father, an army veteran and a man who always found a way to make everyone laugh. He leaves behind his wife, Angela, and his five children — Marcellus, Ashlee, Mya, Breyana, Lashaun — who were the light of his life and the reason he kept fighting for so long.

Anyone who knew Barry knows how big his heart was. He was the kind of person to make you laugh when you wanted to cry, and show up for the people he loved no matter what he was going through. His laughter, his advice, and his love will forever live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

As we say goodbye, we want to give our dad the peaceful rest he deserves. We are reaching out to family, friends, and anyone who knew and loved Barry to help us raise funds to lay him to rest, help out with medical expenses, and celebrate the beautiful life he lived.
