Hello friends. Please help me reach my goal for 2024 to transport 1000+ shelter dogs from SoCal up north to our affiliated rescue partners in Oregon, Washington state and BC Canada.
To accomplish this, I need to purchase a replacement vehicle dedicated to this mission. I’ve been able to pull together most of the cash to buy the bus, but I’m still about $2500 short of the amount needed to finalize the purchase. Hopefully, with your help, I can raise that amount so I can get back on the road!! The capacity of the new vehicle is around 50 dogs (all sizes) per trip. I plan on making the drive from LA to the Canadian border approx twice each month (close to 2500 mines round trip).
As many of you know, I had a shuttle bus that broke down earlier this year in near the Oregon border as I was headed north with 40+ dogs. (Stunning mountainous scenery but 20 miles to nearest town.) Unfortunately, the repair costs exceeded the value of the vehicle so I decided to scrap that one. The new bus that I am buying is larger, in excellent condition, and with better features.
