Refugee Day Out In Dublin

REFUGEE DAY OUT IN DUBLIN
We are planning to bring a group of Refugees, who are currently living in Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon into Dublin for the day on Saturday the 15th of July.

BACKGROUND
Since moving to Roscommon, this group of individuals havn't been given the opportunity to explore their new home in Ireland. We think that they deserve a chance to  see all the amazing sights in Dublin City, and a day out in town is the least we could do.

For this trip to Dublin we are focusing on Women and Children who have found the move particularly challenging and we hope to have future day trips to give the rest of the group the chance to experience what Ireland has to offer.

WHAT WILL MY CONTRIBUTION GO TOWARDS?
We are hoping to raise €500 to fund a return bus from Ballaghaderreen to Dublin for 27 Women and Children with any remaining funds going towards sightseeing activities for the day.  Lunch and refreshments will be provided free of charge for the group by the Silk Road Cafe, Dublin Castle.

WHO'S INVOLVED?
This day out is being planned with the help of The City of Sanctuary , The Irish Red Cross and The Silk Road Cafe and Friends of the Centre

Thanks so much for any support :)

P.S. If you have any ideas for places in Ireland you think the group should see let us know - we'd love to hear any suggestions!
