Burt Franks' Big Break - Nashville & The Movies!
THIS IS URGENT - JULY 8TH 2021 DEADLINE - PLEASE READ ASAP!
Hello, this is Cousin Tim helping to raise funds for Cousin Burt Franks' big break.
As many of you know Burt Franks is Curt and Ella May Frank's oldest son.
Burt learned music from Curt at a very young age and has always been an amazing musician and songwriter! If it's got strings, Burt and Curt can play it.
Most importantly, he is family, a friend, and a neighbor to most of us. With the Good Lord's help and a little help from us, his ship might be coming in!
As most of you know, Burt is a family man, a minister, and a factory worker at Yokohama Tire.
A movie about the life of Dr. Ralph Stanley is being produced and is slated to star Steve Martin in the lead roll. The production company wants to use TWO of Burt's songs in the Movie, a love song entitled, "Already Mine", and a song about being a Coal Miner's son called, "Highway 58".
Recently, a family member of Dr. Ralph's asked me to help with some documents for the movie.
The movie is called UNBREAKABLE and focuses on the life of Dr. Ralph Stanley and his love for his family. It will be distributed by Sony and Warner Brothers.
When they were telling me what they were looking for, I immediately thought of Cousin Burt. His song, "Already Mine" is perfect for a scene between Dr. Ralph and his wife; Burt's song "Highway 58" showcases Southwestern Virginia and its values and the mining culture.
I got the Producers on a call with Burt. They loved Burt's voice and music.
Here are some of the groups working on the project.
They want Burt in a Nashville Studio on July 8th!
Miraculously, Burt's Factory decided to close at the same time for several days. We are taking this as a sign from God! Burt has booked a room there on Music Row where the Studio is located and is stepping out with Faith in God and Faith in the Love and Support of his family, friends, and neighbors.
HERE IS HOW YOU CAN HELP!!!
We need $8,500 by the 8th just to get in the door to "lay down" the song tracks for the Movie that the Producers are asking Burt to bring to the table.
The Producers have booked one of the better studios for Burt and lined up backup musicians like Jimmy Nicholas who plays with Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Faith Hill, and Tim McGraw. They also have Duncan Mullins who was one of the stars on the Nashville TV Series and plays bass for major industry artists, and Brent Rader will also be paying with Burt; he works with Danny Rader and Keith Urban. All the other artists and engineers on the project are AAA-rated Nashville Best.
The Movie Producers, Dark Lonesome, and Burt's new label, Copper Lilly, want Burt to do a full 10 Song Album while he is in Nashville so that he will have a product to sell once the movie comes out. Burt will have two songs already on the soundtrack, but having his own album once that is released is ideal to launch Burt as an artist and songwriter.
To complete the full album, we need $18,500 by July 10th!
By the end of the project (I will update you as to the final date), we need a total of $29,950. (Updated for Discount)
If we can raise the total amount, not only will Burt have...
- a new high-quality album with Nashville's best artists and engineers, but
- his music will also be featured in the movie and on the soundtrack with artists like Rickey Scaggs, The Isaacs, Steve Martin, and Vince Gill,
- he will be featured in a scene with Steve Martin singing Highway 58,
- he will also be spotlighted on THE Nashville Billboard as a new artist and songwriter,
- he will have points, rights, and royalties in both the movie and on the soundtrack, and
- get a chance to fulfill his calling, help his family, and see a divine dream come true.
YOU can make all this happen!
They want Burt and Curt to do a scene in the movie where they meet Dr. Ralph, and he listens to Burt play. This happened in real life, but they are artistically adjusting it to show Burt at his current age and have him sing his song "Highway 58."
Since Steve Martin is slated to play Dr. Ralph and has his own bluegrass band, by doing this scene, Burt not only gets his song in the movie but gets to audition before Steve!
This is an EMERGENCY appeal for support that must come in VERY QUICKLY!
Would you please consider helping Burt, reach his dream?
He well deserves it. As a minister, an adoptive Dad, and a talented artist, the time has come for Burt's break!
Everyone who helps us get the album fully funded will get a signed advance copy of Burt's new Album!
Please take a moment and pray and ask the Lord, "What would you have me do?"
"God Bless You All! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
