Burton Joyce FC Girls Footballers need your support!

This time last year, Burton Joyce football club had limited provision for girl's football for under 12s (primary aged children). Through a group of volunteer parents, all of whom are now managers/assistant managers/coaches, we have put together a programme that we have become really proud of and we feel the girls, parents and the local community have responded really positively to it.

As a club we now have more than 100 girls involved in age groups aged four to 15, and around 80 of those girls are now involved in playing competitive matches every week with smiles on their faces!

Now the girls (supported by their parents and coaches) want to give something back to the community by taking part in the biggest litter pick ever to take place in Burton Joyce! The girls will work in teams to tidy up the local area and make Burton Joyce a place we can all be proud of.

The planned date is Saturday 17th July, starting at the Lord Nelson pub.

But we need your help too, by way of funding and sponsorship to enable us to supply every member of the girls playing squad with a new training kit for the 2021/22 season. This will have a really positive impact on the girls and give them a real sense of pride when representing our club.

Every penny counts, and anything you can give will be much appreciated.
