BURSCOUGH FC CLUB SPONSORED WALK

It’s time for the whole club to come together.

We’re inviting every single Burscough FC team, from U5s right through to ladies, to take part in our Club Sponsored Walk.

The plan:

Meet at Burscough FC and travel together by train to Southport.

‍♂️ Walk from Southport all the way back to Burscough FC.

⚽ Arrive back in time to cheer the First Team on with their Opening Season Home Match against Prestwich Heys!!

This isn’t about raising money for the committee or the club behind the scenes.

Every penny raised will go straight back into all our teams.

Whether that’s tracksuits, jackets, training wear or other equipment, the more we raise, the more we can provide for our players.

Our committee will be walking alongside you, raising sponsorship ourselves and adding to the pot because this is something we all believe in.

As everyone knows, the costs of running a football club continue to rise. Affiliation fees, pitch hire, equipment and facilities all increase year after year.

But we can’t do it without you.

The more people who get involved, the more we can invest back into every age group across the club.

Our club is progressing at an incredible rate and we’re building something really special. We want Burscough FC to have a real identity, a real togetherness and a real community spirit.

Imagine seeing a sea of green walking back into the village together before cheering on the First Team.

That’s what this club is all about.

We’re asking that, wherever possible, no teams arrange fixtures that day. We want everyone together, making this one of the biggest club events we’ve ever had.

If you’re unable to take part because of work, health or other commitments, we completely understand. We’d still love your support by helping us raise sponsorship for the children.
