Hi, my name is Cole. This isn’t about the burpee record. It is about memorializing the fallen, keeping my word, and teaching myself how not to quit.Last November I made a promise to a select few to go after the 24 hour world burpee record. Little did I know there was not one for chest to ground so I’m going to be the first. But this is not about me or my ego. It is about building a platform so others can understand the true meaning of legacy. This weekend is a special one but so many people get caught up in the Memorial Day sales and vacation mentality when in fact we are gifted this weekend because brave men and women gave their life protecting our freedom. I’m raising burpees for awareness and funds for the True North Foundation which will then help endow the Adam Brown, Fallen Navy SEAL scholarship, at the University of Central Arkansas.
