My name is Joselyn Lopez and me and a friend named Stephanie Chacon are trying to help our friend Vanessa Porras and her 3 year-old daughter, who sadly lost most of their personal belongings on a house fire last Sunday, October 16th, 2016. Vanessa is a single mom and she is a hard working woman and she has been always been devoted for her daughter.
On October 16th, around 7am I got a phone call from Vanessa and she was histerically crying and screaming for help since her apartment caught on fire. As soon as I got out of bed I went to her apartment and sadly experienced as the fire destroyed what was left of their apartment. Thankfully, my friend and her daughter had the opportunity to exit the place safely.
We are trying to collect funds in order for our friend and her daughter to be able to afford a place to live in. We are also collecting money in order to buy a new bed, clothes, and necessary furniture. A lot of people had showed their support by donating clothes and toys for the little girl and we really appreciate their help!
Every penny counts!!! Please help this family in need! Once we have received the funds and utilized them in buying the necessary, we will share a video of how everything was spent and also we will incorporate the names of everyone who contributed to their cause!
