Burnley Rugby Club and Pendleside Hospice

Hi, we are Burnley Rugby Club and we are raising funds for Burnley Rugby Club and Pendleside Hospice. We will be carrying out a 24hr row from the 9th to the 10th of August.

Burnley Rugby Club has 3 Senior men’s teams, an emerging women’s team and 15 junior teams. Rugby provides a mental and physical health to hundreds of men, women, boys and girls in the local area. We are raising funds for the purchase of new equipment and to support the travel costs for teams.

Pendleside Hospice is a charity close to many of the people at Burnley RUFC. Pendleside exists to promote and enhance quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers; by delivering specialist and holistic palliative care, which addresses their individually assessed physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs. Pendleside relies on the support of the local community to keep continuing the amazing work they do and we will be donating 20% of the funds raised to this amazing organisation.

Any donation is appreciated and all funds raised will go to supporting the work done by both of these organisations in our local community. Please come and show your support on the 9th as I am sure it will be appreciated by all those taking part in the gruelling challenge.
