Hi friends and fellow Burners,

Even $1 or $5 helps more than you know.

This year was our third Burn - I came with my husband and a close friend.

We spent weeks preparing, built our own camp, brought what we could to gift, and gave our hearts to the Playa.

But after we left Black Rock City, we were involved in an unexpected incident with our rented RV.

The damage was serious, and it completely turned our world upside down.

We spent a full month trying to sort things out with the insurance company and the RV owner.

In the end:

• The insurance refused to cover the damage,

• And the RV owner sent us a repair bill we simply can’t afford.

Why We’re Asking for Help

It’s extremely difficult for me to ask - but we’re at a point where we can’t handle this alone.

We’re not a big theme camp or an established art collective.

We’re just three people who love Burning Man with all our hearts and did our best to give something back.

We believe in the Burning Man principles: in radical self-reliance - but also in communal effort and radical kindness.

So today, we’re turning to the community for support.
