An anonymous person was arrested at Burning Man.

Bail is set at $8000. The remote bail payment provider, AllPaid, charges a 9% fee.

I'm raising the goal to cover the Anonymous Person's legal costs. Any further donation shouldn't be required to bail them out, just to cover their defense.

I have contacted a defense attorney who recommended Anonymous Person contact them on Tuesday when the court opens.

Bail is refunded if/when the case ends, e.g. after sentencing.

Bail is refunded via a physical check which may take 2-6 weeks to arrive.

Court costs, fines, fees, etc. may be deducted.

I will give any refund check to the anonymous person on a best effort / good faith basis.
