Burnett Family's Journey

Paul entered the gates of heaven last night, 10/19/2020. Please see Erica's updated post.
On behalf of the Burnett Family, please join my family and many others in prayer for our sweet friends and their three children. So many have been blessed by their Servant's Hearts and we'd like to bless them in return.
Erica's post:
Well friends, this isn’t how we saw the journey going, but here we are. Paul’s health with his liver disease has been declining. He got some labs drawn last week and they were way off so he ended up in ICU last weekend. They are doing their best to balance everything, but he continues to get weaker and more labs are trending down. At this point it does not look like he will be able to get a transplant. So, with the doctors guidance, we are going home from the hospital today with hospice care. I told the kids last night that he probably has less than a month to live. Through it all, we have felt Jesus extremely near to us. I feel so supported and loved and cared for. The body of Christ in tangible action is truly a beautiful thing. We would so appreciate your prayers during this time. Pray for Paul and his mom and dad, his sister Tammy, and me and the kids too.
If you want to leave a comment or send a message or text, I’m reading them all to him and he enjoys hearing from his friends. Our meals are covered for now. We have the best friends!!
