They saved his life after spending 2 weeks in intensive care then 10 weeks in the burns unit of Birmingham children’s hospital. Alex had to learn to walk, talk, speak and eat all over again. They were unreadable and continue to be year after year with children and their families who sadly get burnt.

As this years fundraiser I am climbing snowdon with a group of close friends for my 40th birthday. I’d like to say my yearly thank you to this incredible charity, and ask for people to sponsor me in this challenge.

My life would have been very different without my amazing boy and I’m forever great-full to this amazing unit. Alex has been supported by the burns unit for the last 16 years and this is my little bit to say thank you.
