Support Steve and Sarah- burn and stroke victims

Hello, my name is Amy Keller. I am raising funds for my sweet sister. Sarah Thulin, and her husband, Steve. They are the parents of ten children, and in the last 2 years have gone through devastating challenges.

   Sarah has had three  strokes, the most recent was in May 2023.  Each stroke occurred in a series of 10 month intervals. The strokes were triggered by a heart condition that has since required two  life saving cadiac surgeries. Sarah has been through multiple rounds of speech, physical, and occupational therapies and has a long recovery ahead of her 

  While the family was camping in September to celebrate a daughter's birthday, a cooking device exploded and engulfed Steve in flames,

- Steve was life flown to Regions Burn Center in St. Paul, Minnesota (roughly five hours away from their home in South Dakota)

-   His face, neck, arms, hands, and legs suffered critically severe burns. which required  multiple skin grafts.

-Further surgeries may be necessary and months of hospitalization and physical and occupational therapies are anticipated.

-Medical bills are accumulating and Steve is not able to work at this time.

- Steve is the sole provider for his family.

This is an amazing family who have suffered great misfortune in the last two years. Both Sarah and Steve have a long road ahead in the healing process. The funds raised will be used to help cover the immediate family needs and rapidly increasing necessary medical and traveling expenses.
