Hi everyone, I never imagined I would be in a position like this, but life changed in one moment. A grease fire broke out at my small business, and while trying to protect the building, I ended up with second-degree burns on my right hand and arm. I’m grateful it wasn’t worse, but the pain, healing process, and loss of income have been overwhelming. Because of the injury, I’m unable to work right now. My hands are essential for what I do, and even simple daily tasks have become difficult. As a small business owner, I don’t get paid if I can’t work, so this has made things even more challenging. The doctors expect a full recovery, but it will take time, wound care, and follow-up treatments before I can return to work.
I’m asking for help to cover medical bills and supplies, prescription costs, and basic living expenses while I can’t work. This has been one of the hardest seasons of my life, but I’m trying to stay positive and focused on healing. Any donation—no matter how small—would mean more to me than I can express. If you can’t donate, sharing my story is just as appreciated. Thank you for your prayers, kindness, and support. I’m believing I’ll come back stronger from this.
With gratitude, Donna
