Burl’s road to recovery

My name is Bonnie and I am raising money for my son in law who was in a very serious car accident on April 3, 2024. He was on his way home from work only 3 minutes from home when it happened. He has multiple broken bones between all four limbs, broken knee cap, cracked ribs, cracked sternum a lung laceration among many cuts and bruises as well as a bitten lip. He has had surgery on his left side and is having surgery on his right side today. He is a coal miner for warrior met. Unfortunately he is about 3 weeks shy of being there for 6 months so he doesn’t qualify for short term disability leaving him and his family without income until he returns to work. We know he will be non weight bearing for 6 weeks and will need some physical therapy so he has a long road ahead of him. Jamie his wife (my daughter) doesn’t work as she tends to their two boys Jake and Jase. She can’t take a job to cover their income because when Burl comes home from the hospital he will require 24/7 care and can’t be left alone. They also will be hit with some medical bills as he had to be life flighted from the wreck scene to UAB hospital where he is currently receiving treatment. Please help if you can and if not please pray for quick and peaceful recovery and for strength and endurance for everyone involved. All money received will go to help cover not only medical bills but also everyday life while he can’t receive income.
