My dear friend Josh Burley and his parent’s (whom he takes care of) had a tragedy happen last night (3/31/20) They lost their home and all personal effects in a house fire. The fire caused a total loss and they unfortunately, did not have home owners insurance due to the insurance company denying because of the home’s age. Josh is an incredible man with the kindest of hearts. He not only cares for his parents but also cares for friends. I have known Josh for 15yrs, we both work at Walmart in Fargo ND and have been best friends this entire time. Josh is the type of individual that would give a stranger the shirt off his back if they were cold, so it breaks my heart that this tragedy happened to such a kind soul.
Walmart is a family, and the company and associates are donating and doing what they can to help. However, this will not replace their home or cover the costs of demolition. This is the goal to this fundraiser. Josh would not want me to do this, as he is an independent person and has a hard time asking for help. As his  best friend I will ask for help on his behalf.
