Burke Family House Fire Recovery

On the morning of January 22nd, the Burke family experienced a devastating house fire that started in the garage. Fire fighters spent 2.5 hours fighting the fire, while the family & neighbors looked on!
Thankfully, Josh, Danielle, Luke (4), & Kate (2) escaped the fire & all animals were rescued (kitty is at the vet)! They literally got out without shoes, so they will be starting from scratch. It is unknown at this time what started the fire but it will be a complete tear down & will take 6-8 months to rebuild. They also lost both of their cars in the fire.
They have family nearby to stay with initially. Friends and neighbors have helped them get some essentials today to attempt to help them get started on the long road to rebuilding!
At this time, your contribution of funds will be the BEST thing for this family as they attempt to process the loss & work with their insurance companies. They will need temporary housing for 6-8 months as they rebuild, replacement of 2 cars, and of course all of their belongings! Please pray insurance comes through to cover many items once they are able to navigate that process.
We received a tremendous amount of non-monetary donations in the last 24 hours, so we are good at this time on drop offs.
