Our little town is small in numbers but big in heart. As a resident of Burke, I know our community is strong and will persevere. Neighbors know and depend on each other in small towns like ours, and this Burke SD Storm Destruction Relief fund is one way neighbors across the state and beyond can show support to those in Burke affected by the storm's damage.

Funds raised will be used to help offset costs of rebuilding public buildings like the Burke Civic Center, Burke High School, and Senior Center. Citizens of Burke suffering damage or injury from the storm may also receive assistance if insurance does not cover property damage or medical bills.

After the storm's damage has been assessed, insurance coverage is determined, and rebuilding efforts in Burke are underway, funds raised will be distributed to organizations and individuals that reach out and demonstrate a need for financial assistance to aid in their storm recovery.

Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, offers of support, and donations to the rebuilding of our strong and resilient town of Burke!
