Burial-Janazah for Jihad Gilbert
Bismillah. As salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah. this GoFundMe account was created March 6th 2021 due to the passing of my blood brother Jihad Bilal Gilbert on Feb.28th 2021 Above is a Picture of us as children left (Jihad) right (Myself) May Allah عزوجل have mercy on his soul and give us a good ending Ameen. He case is still under investigation he passed away in Yadkinville North Carolina unfortunately I live in New York and he or I have no family there besides our mom who also passed several years ago. I can go on and on about who my brother was to me and who he was but in the end he was a Muslim and as of today he still hasn't been given his due rights of a proper Islamic Burial due to his financial state and having no support family wise or islamically where he rested they already rushed and cutted him open to investagate which violated one right of I just really want to give his due right and get him buried asap InshaAllah. As of now it's a 600$ embalming fee besides the burial fee 2k+ I am in contact with a Mosque in North Carolina who can't assist much without me being there to raise donations. But Insist I come and release him as if I wasn't needed he'd be buried but As of now things are tight for me and it's tough to even get on here and ask but I'm not asking for me it's a right of a Muslim and the reward is there SIMPLE. and as a muslim it's just his right! And I wouldn't wish this on anybody and to hear people say Allah wills what he wants is unislamic in my eyes and I was told this by many folks that if I can't do much it is what it is just have him turned to dust!! I am willing to contribute everything alone if I could but things are tight I pay 2200+$ in rent and utilities, March 1st just passed I have responsibilities and other duties and I am over 1000+ miles away living in Brooklyn NYC I don't have access to traveling and immediately hotel funds and I'm waiting to hear from examiner again on monday in the meanwhile anything I raise to put towards anything I don't have is apprrciated and I'm his only family I don't want his body just sitting once I receive further investagation report back on monday, I plan to travel out as soon as they say they are able to release his body and get him buried under the SUNNAH. this is a hard time for me. So I want to raise at least a portion of the potential 2k+ total fees for his embalming and the rest will be put toward my travel and stay and any necessary fees to release his body for a proper Janazah once I've arrived in North Carolina. Anything helps everything is also appreciated and If I could thank you face to face I would I ask Allah to bless every one of you and us. And let us die upon truth and under his mercy.
