Mi nombre es Silvia.

El 24 de junio, mi hermano mayor Rodolfo Antonio Valle falleció bajo circunstancias desafortunadas causadas por su enfermedad depresiva. En diciembre del año pasado también falleció nuestra madre Ana Julia Dubon quien murió de complicaciones relacionadas al COVID-19. Como usted se puede imaginar, han sido unos meses muy difíciles para nuestra familia.

Además, por la pandemia el costo de cremación y niche son extremadamente caros. Yo tengo una enfermedad crónica que me debilita y no he podido recaudar los fondos necesarios para poder cubrir el costo de entierro. Aunque mi madre falleció en diciembre, solo he podido recaudar fondos (sacando más deuda) para su cremación, pero no he podido recaudar fondos para su entierro. Hasta el momento, no tengo los fondos necesarios para ni siquiera cremar a mi hermano Rodolfo. El proceso de cremación es mucho más accesible financieramente que el entierro.

Necesito apoyo para poder cubrir los gastos de cremación para mi hermano, y de entierro para mi hermano y madre. Por esta razón estoy iniciando esta recaudación pública.

My name is Silvia.

On June 24, my older brother Rodolfo Antonio Valle passed away under very unfortunate circumstances caused by depression. In December, we also lost our mother Ana Julia Dubon who passed away from COVID-19 related complications. As you can imagine, it has been an incredibly painful and challenging time for our family.

Because of COVID-19, the costs of burial and cremation are outrageously high. As someone living with a debilitating chronic illness, I am unable to raise these funds on my own. While my mother passed away in December, I have only been able to raise funds (including taking on more debt) for her cremation process and have not been able to afford a final resting place for her. At the moment, I do not have any means to be able to bury my brother, Rodolfo.

I am launching this fundraiser because I need help covering the costs of cremation for my brother, which is the most affordable option, and to cover the costs of a final resting place for both my brother and mother.
