Early Monday morning Duanda Robinson, a 26-year-old mother, daughter and sister to many and her precious two-year-old daughter Damiah were suddenly and senselessly taken from us. A drunk driver, currently on probation for a previous DUI, driving in the wrong direction on Interstate 35, crashed into Duanda’s SUV killing both Duanda and Damiah.

No family can anticipate losing a mother and daughter in such a sudden and preventable tragedy and now we are left to plan memorial services and burials for both Duanda and Damiah.

Duanda leaves behind her two sons, 8 year old Taijahn (TC) and 5 year old Taveon. Duanda was also in the process of adopting her niece and was currently serving as her foster mother. The impact of this loss is far-reaching and many family and friends are left grieving.
