Yesterday a horrible tragedy occurred in our community.  A group of children were playing in a room when the  11-year-old brother of the siblings (who has mental developmental issues) found a rifle, pointed it at 6 year old Zain and pulled the trigger.  Zain Fadhil was struck in head, and his sister Fatima was hit by shrapnel. Zain was taken immediately to a hospital in Mansfield, but then was air lifted to Cook Children’s medical where he could get more comprehensive treatment for his injury. Fatima the sister is recovering from surgery currently, but her brother Zain is sadly in grave condition on life support. The family could use all our support, mentally, emotionally, and financially, to cover the expenses of medical bills and in the event of the worst, a possible funeral.
