Burial fund for Alicia Gibbs

Please, pray for the Brian Gibbs family, for our son in law, Brian(our daughter Melanie’s husband), his dad, Norman, and most especially the repose of the soul of their sister and daughter, Alicia Gibbs, who lost her battle with mental illness on Sunday, June 26th when she took her own life. Brian so desperately tried to guide her to seek the right help, but to no avail. This is the 2nd, sudden, major tragedy within his immediate family as they lost their dear mother in a house fire a few years ago. Once again, this family is not able to say goodbye to a loved one, nor even have a typical funeral. No one is ever expecting such sudden and horrible deaths to those who are loved…and like anyone, Brian is battling the “what ifs” or “I should haves” and they are bearing down heavily on his heart. Their father does not currently live in Oklahoma, and we ask for prayers that his health concerns remain stable, and that God grants him the strength to cope with the tragic loss of his little girl. Alicia had no income, savings, nor life insurance. Brian and Melanie have tried the Canadian County Commissioner's offices, State of Oklahoma offices for programs, funeral homes, and etc. Alicia’s body rests at the ME’s office, and Brian has been told he only has a few days left before he needs to take her. Affordable Cremations has now given them a price, which includes all the legal permits, death certificates, pickup and delivery. It is with deep sadness and humility they are asking for help.
