Burial for my 20 weeks old twins.
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Anthony and I’m fundraising for the burial of my 20 week old twins who died inside their mothers womb. Their deaths are still unknown and they are going through an autopsy to find out the cause of their death.
We were stressed out financially and emotionally through out the pregnancy. The twins were sharing the same sac which made it a high risk pregnancy. My wife doesn’t have any status in Canada at the moment. Her PR application is still on process and her MSP is already expired. We asked for an extension for her MSP, but it is taking more time to process because of covid. This made us pay for her checkups with our own money.
It was really hard for my wife faye and I to start this year. My wife’s mom died because of cancer on January 3rd 2022. Faye couldn’t go back to the Philippines due to her pregnancy, covid and lack of finance. We were only able to give some financial support to her family back home, which leaves us with little to no money. This was very hard for my wife and I had to be strong for her. Faye had an ultrasound 2 days later on January 5th 2022. That is when we found out that it has been a week since the twins lost their lives.
I went to Richmond Funeral and consulted how much the expenses would be. The casket itself was already $250 Canadian for each and the lot was $5000. It was way beyond our budget and we already asked people who we can ask for assistance, but it was still not enough.
I still cannot believe that this is all happening,
but I know God has a plan for us and I believe that they are now in a better place. I want to give the twins a proper burial because they deserve to be buried properly and not get cremated and get disposed by the hospital. I humbly ask everyone’s assistance for my twin’s burial.
