Burial Expenses for Mary Carter
Donation protected
On February 13, 2021, Mary Josephine Moppins Carter passed away peacefully after a long illness.
Mary was born on July 4, 1936 to Tyree and Clara Moppins in Mobile, Alabama. As a young person, she was feisty and rambunctious. As an adult, she was strong and proud. She never let life get the best of her; she stood strong in times of joy and pain. Her good times outweighed her bad times.
She was the best cook and loved to laugh. You could always tell how much she loved you by the size of your plate. You were OK with her if she chose you as her Spades partner, and shared her E&J!
Even though we will miss her dearly, we have her memory to comfort us.
"I thought of you with love today
but that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday
and days before that too,
I think of you in silence
I often speak your name
All I have are memories
and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake
with which I’ll never part
God has you in His keeping
I have you in my heart." - Unknown
“It is finished!” - John 19:28-30
