As many of you in our community already know, my brother Lee Whalen passed away tragically and was found on Saturday June 26, 2021. My family and I aren’t the type who ask for help or support, but Lee was just a young man, just turning 30 years old in March. His passing was not expected and my family and I are trying to figure out how to pay for the final send off that my brother so deserved. Such an amazing young soul with a love for music who touched the hearts of many. While Lee may have had his issues and demons, if you were around him for long enough, you knew he had a big heart and held lots of inner pain and struggles.
Anything anyone can help with would be greatly appreciated as my family tries to pick up the pieces and learn to live without our guitar hero in our physical lives.
Special thanks goes out to the Vermont State Police for their support with his missing persons case. As well as to the Roxbury and Northfield fire and rescue squads that supported.
A huge thank you goes out to Shawn Mable and his son Josh for spending hours in the woods and finding my baby brother. Thank you for staying with him until EMS arrived.
RIP Broski until we meet again- rock it up there in heaven-
