We are the Lisanick family, Jeff and Omobenita. (Omobenita used to be known as Anita.) Omobenita is from Cameroon, and her mother, Justina Tanyi, recently passed away at the age of 89 in the capital of Yaounde. Because funeral customs are different in Cameroon, certain protocols must be followed during the grieving and burial process. Cremation is forbidden, meaning we must purchase a casket. Also, there are mandatory gatherings and services that must be observed. (The final burial date is to be determined.) All of this has exhausted our finances, so we are reaching out to request that you prayerfully consider making a donation during this trying time. No gift is too small; no gift is unappreciated.
